STILETTO SWIMMERS

August 11, 2010

Hi Everyone,

We were hoping to get off this morning but there is a problem with the boat, have a meeting with the skipper around 12 today. The weather is awful here tomorrow, so looking like a Wednesday swim.

Having a ball here have met two relay teams from Leinster who are in a similar window to ourselves, the guys in the mobile home next to us were here their full ten days and only got to swim yesterday-they are from Italy, doing a two  man relay, they found it very cold (training in 30degs) and were very sick when on the boat – but they did it in 12 hours :) Everyone is so nice and it’s all swim talk so our heads are in the right place.  The water is very salty and milky to swim in but there is a great camaraderie at the beach.

Will keep you updated.
